Current position 

June 1997  - present: Consultant - Specializes in the integration of Pharmacoeconomics and quality of life strategies in clinical trials and outcome research; analyses and interpretation of QOL and economic data in clinical trials; Global pricing strategy and impact; Marketing strategies; pharmacoeconomic modeling; new products break-even price calculation; identification of economic drivers in support of pricing new products; burden of illness, as well, as building pharmacoeconomic dossiers in support of new products’ registration and pricing. Research is conducted with emphasis on regulatory compliance and in response to the expectations of third party payers.

  • Joined GD Searle in February 1994 to re-establish the Pharmacoeconomics (PE) function. During tenure at Searle, the following was accomplished:
    • Recruited and mentored a multi-disciplinary research team in Pharmacoeconomics
    • Responsible for all PE and QOL activities in all phases of clinical development as well as community- based outcome research.
    • Initiated and successfully negotiated the inclusion of PE and QOL programs in all company’s therapeutic areas. Representatives of therapeutic areas involved are:
